PETALING JAYA – Dongfeng Cars Malaysia, through its exclusive distributor and importer Central Auto Distributors Bhd (CADB), continues to strengthen the capabilities of its sales and service teams by organizing intensive technical training sessions.

This initiative aims to ensure that staff and appointed dealers possess in-depth knowledge and the necessary skills to support the needs of electric vehicle (EV) customers in the country.

CADB’s Operations Director, Datuk SM Zulkifli SM Amin, stated that the technical training conducted emphasizes understanding technical aspects, maintenance strategies, and handling the unique features of the Dongfeng Box.

"This technical training is our commitment to strengthening our team to ensure that customers receive the best service."

"Our collaboration with Dongfeng also demonstrates CADB’s commitment to introducing the latest technology and supporting the government's goal of expanding EV usage in Malaysia," he said in a statement yesterday.

CADB is a subsidiary of the Malay Vehicle Importers and Dealers Association of Malaysia (PEKEMA). It has established a strategic partnership with a renowned Chinese automotive company to introduce EV models such as the Dongfeng Box.

Further elaborating, SM Zulkifli mentioned that as an active player in the EV segment, Dongfeng Cars Malaysia plays a role in introducing EV options that align with the government's objectives to promote green mobility.

He added that this initiative aligns with efforts to raise awareness about environmentally friendly vehicles and develop a sustainable EV ecosystem in the country.
